MILWAUKEE (AP) — Ryan Braun is back in the lineup for the Milwaukee Brewers, but lingering tightness in his right Achilles tendon is still an issue.

Brewers manager Ron Roenicke says Braun’s status changes daily, “so it’s hard knowing where we are with it.”

Roenicke says the problem won’t keep him out of the lineup for an extended period of time but can limit his ability to steal, run the bases and cover ground in the outfield.

Braun sat out Thursday night’s game in Los Angeles. The Brewers still completed a four-game sweep of the Dodgers, their longest winning streak this season.

Braun is batting .309 with 14 home runs and 36 RBIs.

Second baseman Rickie Weeks was a last-minute lineup scratch for Friday night’s game against Pittsburgh because of an illness.
