The Clark County Sheriff's Office is recruiting people for the 2013 deputy Reserve Academy.

The sheriff's office will hold an informational meeting from 6:30 to 8 p.m. June 6 at the sheriff's West Precinct public safety complex, 505 N.W. 179th St. in Ridgefield.

The meeting will provide information about how to become a reserve deputy. Reserve deputies volunteer for routine patrol, respond to emergency calls, protect crime scenes and serve the public in large community events and other functions.
