Car crashes at Oregon festival; several injured

ONTARIO, Ore. (AP) -- Several people were injured Saturday afternoon when a car crashed into the bandstand area at a festival in eastern Oregon.

An Ontario Police Department dispatcher said the injuries were not life-threatening, and the driver has been taken into custody.

KTVB of Boise, Idaho, reported that the crash occurred just after 2:30 p.m. at Lions Park.

The spectators attending the annual America's Global Village Festival were watching entertainers set up on the main stage.
