Philly Ace wins Belmont feature

NEW YORK (AP) — Philly Ace prevailed in a four-way photo finish to win the $81,000 allowance feature on the turf Thursday at Belmont Park.

Julien Leparoux was aboard for trainer Christophe Clement as Philly Ace edged Yankee Fortune by a neck with Paris Vegas and Abilio also in the picture at the finish. A 4-year-old gelding, Philly Ace got his fifth win in 10 starts, running the one mile over the yielding course in 1:35.71.

Philly Ace paid $7.80, $4 and $3.40. Yankee Fortune returned $3.10 and $2.70, while Paris Vegas paid $3.60 to show.
