Metro transit officer stabbed at Seattle bus stop

SEATTLE (AP) -- Police say a Metro transit officer who went to awaken a man sleeping at a Seattle bus shelter Friday was stabbed in the shoulder.
The King County officer also suffered a cut on his hand and was treated at a hospital.
KIRO-TV reports the officer was able to hold the suspect at gunpoint until police arrived. They recovered two knives at the scene, in the Wallingford neighborhood.
