MEDFORD, Ore. (AP) — A man who was convicted of manslaughter in the 1996 disappearance and death of a 15-year-old girl was sentenced in Medford to 10 years in prison.

Defense lawyers for Bill Simmons say they’ll seek a new trial.

KTVL reports (http://is.gd/8WLQfy) the mother of Kaelin Glazier spoke at the sentencing. She said she forgave Simmons, but feels he needs to come clean with God.
