FALUN, Sweden (AP) — Overall World Cup champion Dario Cologna wrapped up his season by winning the World Cup finals on Sunday.
In the last of four events that make up the finals, the Swiss racer finish 18th in a 15-kilometer pursuit race won by Petr Sedov of Russia.
Cologna finished in a combined time of one hour, 32 minutes and 33.1 seconds for the four events, which began with the Royal Palace Sprint in Stockholm’s Old Town on Wednesday.
Canadian Devon Kershaw finished second in the finals standings, 23.8 seconds behind Cologna. Norway’s Niklas Dyrhaug finished third, 40.5 behind the winner.
