NEW YORK (AP) — The New York Knicks have hired Jim Todd and Darrell Walker as assistants to join new coach Mike Woodson.

The Knicks made the announcement before Saturday night’s game at Indiana.

Coach Mike D’Antoni resigned Wednesday and Woodson was promoted to the post. Also leaving were assistant coaches Dan D’Antoni, Mike’s brother, and Phil Weber.

Todd was an assistant in Atlanta when Woodson was the head coach. Todd also was an assistant with Sacramento earlier this season.

Walker played for the Knicks after being picked in the first round of the 1983 draft. He later was the head coach in Toronto, the interim head coach in Washington and an assistant with Detroit and New Orleans.
