Letter: Obama’s flaws are many

The Columbian
Published: March 18, 2012, 5:00pm

The Obama administration, the most dangerous in American history, very closely resembles a monarchy like that of King George III, whose tyranny our forefathers fought and died to overcome. Our Constitution was designed to prevent such abuses of power.

The “abortifacient” inclusion in Obamacare threatens our First Amendment religious liberties. It even forces religious organizations to pay for chemical abortions.

Obama has trampled our Constitution, seized illegal powers and imposed “mandates” similar to dictatorial commands while grossly overstepping his constitutional authority. By refusing to obey the Constitution, he has broken his oath of office.

Obama supports the UN treaty to essentially abolish our Second Amendment, and also supports a provision that enables indefinite imprisonment of American citizens without trial in violation of our Fifth, Sixth, Seventh and Eighth Amendment.

He’s made appointments without Senate approval, thwarted the deportation of illegal aliens, and added $4.73 trillion to our $15.36 trillion national debt.
