TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — Prosecutors have charged a 53-year-old man suspected of luring a 15-year-old girl from a bus stop and sexually assaulting her at his nearby apartment.

The Tacoma News Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/GCahpT) that Michael Harrel Bond was charged Tuesday with third-degree child molestation, unlawful imprisonment and resisting arrest.

Charging documents say Monday’s assault started when the 15-year-old victim was lost after getting off the bus. Bond approached the girl on the street and persuaded her to follow him to his apartment where he offered her alcohol and marijuana, according to the documents.

At his apartment, he allegedly assaulted her. The girl got Bond’s cell phone and called police after the assault, authorities said.

When police arrived, officers said Bond was face down on a couch. Officers said Bond told them he’d been drinking all day.
