Portland police say shooting, car crash related

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- Police say a shooting and car crash early Thursday in northeast Portland are related and have resulted in the death of a man.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting about 3:30 a.m., and a short time later other officers found a man dead in a car.
Homicide detectives are trying to figure out what happened.
