SEATTLE (AP) — A Pierce County corrections officer was ordered to report to the jail in Tacoma to have his fingerprints and photograph taken, but Alan O’Neill was released without bail after pleading not guilty Thursday to bigamy.

The News Tribune reports (http://is.gd/Vy32sh ) the 41-year-old who was charged earlier this month is on unpaid leave from his job.

Prosecutors charged him after his first wife learned through Facebook that he had remarried without getting a divorce. Facebook suggested the women might want to “friend” one another because of a connection to O’Neill.
