Inmate found dead at Spokane County Jail

SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- The Spokane County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a male inmate who was found unresponsive in his jail cell.
The man was not breathing when corrections deputies and medical staff went to his cell to give him medication. Efforts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Authorities said Sunday that the man's identity and cause of death will be released by the Medical Examiner's Office.
