COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho (AP) — A search committee looking for a new president for North Idaho College has narrowed the field to five finalists.

The finalists are all expected to attend open forums at the school in April. Those tapped by the committee include Spokane Community College President Joseph Dunlap; Jack Becherer, the president of Rock Valley College in Rockford, Ill.; Karin Hilgerson, the vice president for instruction at Central Oregon Community College in Bend; Nathan “Clark” Williams, the vice president of operations at Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Ore.; and Denise Yochum, the president of Pierce College Fort Steilacoom in Lakewood, Wash.

North Idaho College’s current president, Priscilla Bell, is retiring in June after leading the school for five years.
