KHAR, Pakistan (AP) — A government official says a bomb in a market place in a town close to the Afghan border has killed 16 people.
Government administrator Abdul Haseeb says at least five of the dead in the attack in Bajur on Friday were local security force members.
Islamist militants battling for control of the Afghan border region will be suspected in the attack.
