VANCOUVER — Hundreds of volunteers are needed to spruce up downtown Vancouver during Vancouver’s Downtown Association’s sixth annual Downtown Spring Clean Up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 12.

Volunteers will meet at Turtle Place at 7th and Main streets before 9 a.m. to get their assignments. Volunteers can preregister at Vancouver’s Downtown Association and click on the link to the SOLV registration page.

Volunteers should bring gloves and rakes, trowels, shovels, brooms and dustpans. The cleanup ends by 1 p.m.

The association’s cleanup partners are Waste Connections, the City of Vancouver, Frontier Landscaping, SOLV Oregon and the Clark County Juvenile Justice Program.
