BEIJING (AP) — China’s women’s table tennis team for the London Olympics has been set with No. 1-ranked Ding Ning replacing Guo Yan.

The International Table Tennis Federation, citing China’s Olympic Committee, said on its website that Guo was injured and was being replaced.

Guo and Li Xiaoxia earned automatic places on the team based on their performances in last year’s World Championships.

The third player will be Guo Yue, who advanced from an Asian qualification tournament. Guo Yue and Li form the world’s top doubles team.

China has won 20 of 24 gold medals in table tennis since the sport entered the Olympics in 1988. It will be favored again to take all four gold medals in London.
