Letter: A balance chronicles state of nation

The Columbian
Published: May 12, 2012, 5:00pm

I really do appreciate the healthy balance The Columbian tries to maintain in both regional and national affairs. John Laird’s careful and thoughtful installments (his May 6 column, “Banishing Boldt, distrusting drones and pushing peace,” as an example) are a treat for which to look weekly.

Enough heat, more light is what we need and must have to save and keep a great country.
