Volunteers invited to plant flowers

Esther Short — The Parks Foundation is recruiting volunteers to help plant the large planters and flowerbeds in and around Propstra Square at Esther Short Park. The effort will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Volunteers should arrive at Propstra Square by 9 a.m. to complete volunteer registration forms. The event sponsor, the Hilton Vancouver Washington, will provide refreshments for volunteers both before and after.
