LAUSANNE, Switzerland (AP) — The return of two-time world figure skating champion Miki Ando and three-time U.S. champion Johnny Weir highlight next season’s Grand Prix circuit.

Ando sat out last season after winning her second world title in 2011. She drew Cup of China and Trophee Bompard in assignments announced Monday. Weir hasn’t skated since finishing sixth at the Vancouver Olympics. He makes his competitive return at the Rostelecom Cup and also will skate at Trophee Bompard.

Vancouver Olympic champion Evan Lysacek and Turin gold medalist Evgeni Plushenko have said they hope to skate at the Sochi Games. They were not selected for any Grand Prixs. However, there are still spots open for a U.S. man at Skate America and a Russian man at Rostelecom Cup.
