CLEVELAND (AP) — The Detroit Tigers placed infielder-outfielder Ryan Raburn on the bereavement list and called up infielder Danny Worth from Triple-A Toledo.

The Tigers announced the moves before the start of a three-game series Tuesday against Cleveland. The team disclosed no further information on Raburn’s family situation. The earliest he can return is Friday against Minnesota.

The Tigers hope outfielder Austin Jackson returns. He has not played since leaving Wednesday’s game with an abdominal strain.

Raburn was hitting only .144 with one homer and six RBIs in 34 games. Worth hit .306 with three homers and seven RBIs at Toledo.

Detroit transferred the injury rehab assignment of righty Luis Marte from Class A Lakeland to Toledo. He has been out since April 4 with a strained left hamstring.
