DENVER (AP) — The Colorado Rockies have recalled righty Carlos Torres from Triple-A Colorado Springs for their Memorial Day doubleheader against the Houston Astros.

Under the rules for the new collective bargaining agreement, a team is allowed to add a 26th player for a doubleheader. Colorado will make a roster move after the second game.

This will be Torres’ second stint with the Rockies. He allowed one run and two hits in three appearances earlier this month.

With the Sky Sox, the 29-year-old Torres was 2-1 with a 2.45 ERA in 33 innings.

Torres signed with the Rockies as a minor league free agent in January. He’s made 16 appearances in the majors.
