The third and last open-ended public input meeting on a new three-year strategic plan for Battle Ground Public Schools is 5 to 7 p.m. Monday in the media center at Chief Umtuch Middle School, 700 N.W. Ninth St.

It is part of the school board’s process of adopting a new strategic plan and determining the size of the educational program levy — also known as a maintenance and operations levy — that will be on the Feb. 5 ballot.

If voters approve the new levy, it would not take effect until January 2014, when the present educational program levy, approved by voters in 2010, expires.

The Monday meeting will provide an opportunity to propose new programs or other major changes for the next three-year plan.
