Sam Houston State tops Southeastern Louisiana 70-0

HUNTSVILLE, Texas (AP) — Tim Flanders and Keshawn Hill led the rush as Sam Houston State dominated Southeastern Louisiana 70-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Flanders rushed for 146 yards, including a 14-yard touchdown run. After a lightning delay of over an hour at the start of the third, Flanders had a 71-yard TD run. Hill rushed for 132 yards, with two touchdowns, including a 55-yarder. Richard Sincere, Ryan Wilson and Chris Grett rushed for TDs, and Kenneth Jenkins returned a blocked field goal to score. The Bearkats had 405 yards rushing.

Brian Bell was 8 of 9 for 170 yards, and two touchdowns — a 70-yard pass to Chance Nelson and a 23-yard pass to Torrance Williams.

Nathan Stanley was 11 of 27 for 106 yards for the Lions (3-6, 3-2). Xavier Roberson had eight carries for 22 yards.

The Bearkats (7-2, 5-1) set a record, scoring its most points in a Southland Conference game.
