Letter: Constituents’ voice should be heard

The Columbian
Published: November 18, 2012, 4:00pm

Regarding the Nov. 9 Columbian story “Republicans: Overhaul CRC plan,” the arrogance exhibited by state Rep. Jim Moeller’s, D-Vancouver, statement, “There are a lot more powerful voices than Jaime Herrera Beutler that want this project to go through,” is astonishing. There is a more powerful voice on this project than Herrera Beutler’s — it is the voice of her constituency. I commend her and all other politicians who represent the will of the voting majority.
