The Free Clinic of Southwest Washington announced Wednesday that it has received a 2012 Top-Rated Award from GreatNonprofits, an organization that provides user reviews of various nonprofits.
The award was based on the large number of positive reviews that the Free Clinic received from clients, volunteers and partners, according to a news release.
The Free Clinic offers medical, dental, vision and specialty care services to those unable to afford regular providers. Last month, volunteers devoted almost 2,700 hours serving 800 medical patients, 260 dental patients, and 71 specialty care patients, and filled 982 prescriptions.
