ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — DeMario Mayfield scored 17 points to lead Charlotte to a 72-58 victory over Oral Roberts in the semifinals of the Great Alaska Shootout on Friday night.
Chris Braswell added 11 points and point guard Pierria Henry had seven points, seven assists and five steals for the 49ers (5-0), who will play Northeastern in the championship game Saturday at Sullivan Arena.
Guard Shawn Glover led Oral Roberts (3-2) with 18 points and center Damen Bell-Holter added 13 rebounds. The Golden Eagles will play for third place against Belmont.
