No. 22 Kansas women get by Alabama A&M 76-59

LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) -- Carolyn Davis had 19 points, Angel Goodrich had 15 points and eight assists and No. 22 Kansas cruised 76-59 Friday night over visiting Alabama A&M to keep its record perfect so far this season.

To begin the game, Goodrich completed a three-point play the old fashioned way after she hit a jumper to give Kansas an early 4-0 lead and was fouled by Alyssa Strickland. Goodrich knocked down the free throw and the play seemed to set the tone for Kansas (4-0), which didn't trail the Bulldogs at any point in the game.

Natalie Knight gave the Jayhawks their biggest lead of the night at 17 after she hit a 3-pointer with 3:12 to go in the second half, giving Kansas a 74-57 lead.

Three players scored in double figures for Alabama A&M (1-3) with NeDra Robertson recording 12 points and eight rebounds. Shundray Davis and Ebony Johnson each scored 11.
