Washougal: Hathaway Elementary School students learn how small chalk boards were used at school in the "olden days" from Two Rivers Heritage Museum volunteer Cynthia Purdy.

Washougal — Nearly 75 students from Hathaway Elementary School visited Two Rivers Heritage Museum in Washougal in early November. Students were from the classrooms of Christie Cox and Alexis McKee. Museum volunteers, organized by Lois Cobb, led the students through the museum and talked about the area's history.
