The McClaskey Foundation will donate $50,000 to Share’s “One Brick at a Time” campaign, a final fundraising effort to pay construction costs of a third and final phase of the nonprofit’s Fromhold Service Center.

Lyn Angelo, representing the McClaskey Foundation, along with grandson Luke and nephew Albert Angelo III, will present the Christmas check at 2 p.m. today at the Fromhold Service Center, 2306 N.E. Andresen Road in Vancouver.

Also attending will be campaign co-chairs Tim Leavitt, mayor of Vancouver; Royce Pollard, former Vancouver mayor; and Kim Capeloto, Riverview Community Bank executive. Share’s Building a Vision Capital Campaign has raised $5.3 million and it still needs to raise about $200,000, said Diane McWithey, executive director. Share provides services to the homeless and hungry in Clark County.
