Cy Whitmire rushed for 77 yards and four touchdowns, and the Beavers shut down Toledo’s offensive to win a battle of Trico League unbeatens in Toledo.

Woodland held Toledo to 102 yards rushing on 26 carries.

“Our defense really stepped up and won the ball game for us,” Woodland coach Mark Greenleaf said. “They set us up with great field position all night.”

Cy Whitmire had four tackles and two sacks, Eli Whitmire had eight tackles and Ryan Preston had two tackles and a fumble recovery for the Beavers.
