KANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) — Go Daddy has signed an outside agency to produce its two Super Bowl spots for the first time, and it remains to be seen if Danica Patrick will be part of the ads.

The company said Thursday it strongly supports the popular NASCAR driver, even if the ad campaign by Deutsch Inc. winds up not including Patrick.

Chief Marketing Officer Barb Rechterman tells The Associated Press that Go Daddy is looking for fresh ideas from Deutsch. The world’s largest Web hosting provider has produced its own Super Bowl ads since 2005.

Patrick has been featured in the spots since 2007, her first year as spokeswoman for Go Daddy. Her 10 Super Bowl ads are more than any other celebrity, and she’s done 22 commercials in all for Go Daddy.
