Pacific Crest Academy's Rosary draws 130

Camas: Pacific Crest Academy third graders Avery Deringer, left, Bella Groff, David Marshall and Christopher Spencer were among the students who tied their prayer intentions onto a giant Rosary made of balloons on Oct. 1.

Camas -- About 130 participated in Pacific Crest Academy's Rosary event on Oct. 1, the first day of the month dedicated to the Rosary. Children tied their prayer intentions onto a Rosary made of blue balloons. Then the giant Rosary was released into the sky.
