Letter: Malinowski knows power industry

The Columbian
Published: October 30, 2012, 5:00pm

The Columbian’s editorial board blew it in not endorsing Jim Malinowski for Clark Public Utilities commissioner. Voters need to hire the best candidate to oversee the energy supply business they own, and elect a veteran power industry executive rather than a “collaborator and communicator.” Julia Anderson has received endorsements of note and has led an aggressive and engaging campaign, but she is more suited for a city council. We need Malinowski, who has master’s degrees in electrical engineering and business and proven industry savvy to uniquely serve voters in directing the company we own.
