LOS ANGELES (AP) — Pro skateboarders Andy Macdonald, Jake Brown and Adam Taylor are among the 18 action sports stars scheduled to compete in the Sony Big Air Triples on Sept. 22 on a 195-foot course set up on the basketball courts at Venice Beach.

Skateboarders and BMX riders will show off their best three tricks on a course that includes a 26-foot high roll-in ramp, two 25-foot wide jumps and a course-ending, 14-foot high quarter pipe.

The head-to-head, bracket format will combine the best of dirt, park and vert athletes competing on the same course.

BMX riders will include T.J. Ellis and Zack Warden.

The contest will mark the debut of Sony’s Action Cam, a point-of-view HD camera that weighs three ounces and can be mounted on skateboards, helmets and bikes.

ASA Entertainment will produce a one-hour, docudrama-style show that will air on Fox Sports Net on Nov. 23.
