An open house at Clark County’s Public Safety Complex will be between noon and 4 p.m. today, Saturday, Sept. 15.

The open house will allow the public to meet local firefighters and law enforcement and check out emergency vehicles on display. The event will also offer free face-painting, a bounce house, fingerprinting and health screenings. Free hot dogs, chips and pop also will be available.

The complex, at 505 N.W. 179th St., houses the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, the Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office and a station shared by Clark County Fire & Rescue and Clark County Fire District 6.

Public safety officials also will offer demonstrations of their on-the-job duties, such as using a fire extinguisher.
