EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Giants tackle David Diehl and wide receiver Domenik Hixon were injured late in the first quarter Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Hixon was being evaluated for a head injury. He took a hard helmet-to-helmet hit from linebacker Mason Foster earlier in the period.

Diehl, New York’s most versatile offensive lineman, went down with a right knee injury on a play near the Tampa Bay end zone and is out for the rest of the game. He walked to the locker room under his own power.

Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw went to the locker room for X-rays on his neck during the second quarter.
