GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) — John Skelton was among Arizona’s inactives for Sunday’s game against Philadelphia, meaning Kevin Kolb will start for the Cardinals against his former team.

Skelton sprained his right ankle in the opener against Seattle and sat out last week’s game against New England. He returned to practice late this week, but was limited in what he could do.

Cardinals tight end Todd Heap, who sprained his left knee against the Patriots, and strong safety Adrian Wilson (ankle) also were among Arizona’s inactives.

The Eagles were without receiver Jeremy Maclin after he aggravated a hip injury last week against Baltimore. Left tackle King Dunlap also missed the matchup of 2-0 teams after injuring his hamstring against the Ravens.
