Letter: Vision of city future is unimpressive

The Columbian
Published: April 3, 2013, 5:00pm

Reading the city of Vancouver’s recent publication, “State of the City,” which was inserted into The Columbian, I was shocked at the photograph labeled “Our Future.” It shows the Columbia River waterfront, west of Interstate 5. In this panoramic view, an uncovered coal train obscures every inch of the railroad track. This is the vision of our city’s leadership?
