Everybody Has a Story — that means you!

The Columbian
Published: April 9, 2013, 5:00pm

We’ve had great tales in this popular Columbian feature. Remember the goat that got used to urban living? The volunteer touched by firefighters’ kindly deeds? The Christmas tree, seized by Gorge winds, that almost tugged people over the edge with it? The lost Veterans Day thank-you card that somehow found its way to a 91-year-old grandmother who is a real veteran?

Great stuff. But we haven’t had your story yet. And we’re feeling it. The inbox at Everybody Has a Story is pretty empty these days.

If you’ve got a true-life tale that can be told in under 1,000 words, we want to see it. If you’ve got a relevant photo to go with it, even better.

Got questions? Call “Everybody Has an Editor,” Scott Hewitt, at 360-735-4525. Got a story? Mail it to neighbors@columbian.com or P.O. Box 180, Vancouver, WA 98666.

And while we’re at it — the Neighbors email is also the place for neighborhood news items and photos, “What’s Up with That?” questions and anything else headed for our Wednesday Life/Neighbors section.

Questions about that? Call neighborhood news coordinator Stover E. Harger III at 360-735-4530.
