INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Pacers coach Frank Vogel is giving four starters the night off Wednesday.

After the team’s shootaround, Vogel told reporters that guards George Hill and Paul George, forward David West and center Roy Hibbert would all sit out against Philadelphia. Vogel is trying to give his players some extra rest heading into the playoffs, which begin this weekend.

Indiana (49-31) is already locked into the third seed in the Eastern Conference.

Vogel said Lance Stephenson, a regular starter, would be in the starting lineup. He is expected to be joined by D.J. Augustin, Gerald Green, Tyler Hansbrough and Ian Mahinmi.

Philadelphia (33-48) has already been eliminated from playoff contention, and the regular-season finale is expected to be Doug Collins’ final game as the 76ers’ coach.
