Pets of the Week: West Columbia Gorge Humane Society

The Columbian
Published: April 18, 2013, 5:00pm

My name is Madeline, and I am a very young 5-year-old girl. In fact, I’m so young that if you just saw me in the shelter, you would think I was only 1 year old. I love kids and enjoy the company of dogs, with proper introductions. Come run in the sunshine with me, and you’ll know we’ll be best friends forever!

Call me Arpeggio, call me a sweetheart; just don’t call me late for loving! I’m a 2-year-old, tuxedo-clad gentleman who enjoys playing with toys and working on pouncing when not hunting for some cuddle time, that is. I am good with kind children, and with proper introductions, I can be good with most other animals, too.

These pets are among those available for adoption from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Sunday (or by appointment) at West Columbia Gorge Humane Society, 2675 S. Index St., Washougal. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations and flea treatment. Email outreach@wcghs.org or call 360-335-0941.
