Esther Short — Meals on Wheels raised more than $160,000 in only an hour at its annual spring luncheon. The money brought in at the fifth-annual fundraiser, held April 11 at the Hilton Vancouver Washington, will help the nonprofit organization continue in its mission of delivering hot meals to homebound seniors. Nearly 400 Clark County leaders and volunteers attended the event, which was hosted by Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Kelly Parker. There are 35 Meals on Wheels sites in Clark County and Oregon’s Multnomah and Washington counties.
