Letter: Laird’s humor will be missed

The Columbian
Published: July 31, 2013, 5:00pm

I was surprised and saddened to read John Laird’s last column prior to his retirement, “Last call, and the piano player wants to thank the band,” in the July 28 edition of The Columbian.

I always looked forward to his sense of humor and refreshing outlook on what’s going on in our crazy world. Thank you, John, for bringing enjoyment to your readers, including me.
