Local resident named SBA district chief in Portland

Camron Doss has been named district director of the U.S. Small Business Administration in Portland, which also serves Southwest Washington.

Doss, a Vancouver resident, previously worked for the U.S. General Services Administration, where he served as director of its Auburn service center covering the Pacific Northwest states and Alaska. He has 14 years of federal experience with GSA and the U.S. National Park Service.

Doss earned his bachelor’s degree in communications and public relations from the University of Arkansas. He received his masters in business management from Texas A&M University, and he is currently a degree candidate in business law at Lewis & Clark Law School.

Robert DuCoté, who has served as the acting district director since 2010, will continue his service with the SBA.
