Vancouver police are looking for the public’s help in identifying a man who may have taken a purse from a woman’s house and allegedly later tried to use her debit card.

Police went to a residence in the 1200 block of West 27th Street on July 31 after a woman reported that a burglar stole her purse during the night while she was sleeping.

After the woman contacted her bank, Sterling Bank, police learned the bank had a photo of a man attempting to use the debit card at the branch at 1220 Main St.

Anyone with information on the crime or who recognizes the man is asked to contact Officer Colton Price at colton.price@cityofvancouver.us.
