The Seattle Seahawks’ energized crowd will be a factor in tonight’s “Monday Night Football” contest against the New Orleans Saints, and so could the weather.

Snow flurries and rain are possible in downtown Seattle today, according to the National Weather Service, though very little, if any, snow is expected to accumulate before game time.

Tonight, though, the colder weather headed from Alaska toward Western Washington will move in, bringing a chance of snow flurries as the moist, warmer clouds leave the area.

Temperatures will be below freezing in Seattle tonight, with a low of 29 degrees predicted.

The Seahawks and Saints are due to kick off at 5:40 p.m. at CenturyLink Field just south of downtown Seattle. The game is televised nationally on the ESPN cable network. A capacity crowd is due to try to set a world record for fan noise.

The Seahawks, owners of the best record in the NFC, are 4.5 point favorites over New Orleans, which leads the NFC South division of the National Football League.
