Boys basketball: Mark Morris 63, Skyview 53

Skyview was held to four points in the second quarter in a non-league loss at Mark Morris.

Though the Storm fell to 0-4 this season, coach Matt Gruhler in seeing improvement.

“We’re fighting through growing pains right now,” Gruhler said. “But the kids kept their heads up and fought to the end.”

Ben Spies led Skyview with 15 points.

The victory was the 500th in the career of Mark Morris coach Bill Bakamus.
