MOSES LAKE — A Moses Lake man remains in critical condition after he was found with a gunshot wound Wednesday near Moses Lake.

The sheriff’s office identified the victim as Dale Glen Olmos, 28.

Olmos was found about 8 a.m. Wednesday in the 2800 block of Road 5 Northeast in rural Moses Lake.

He was immediately airlifted to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

The location of the hospital is not being released at this time because of safety concerns for the victim, according to the sheriff’s office.

While detectives continue to work to find leads on the shooting, they believe the shooting was not random.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 509-762-1160 or send information to crimetipsco.grant.wa.us, attention Detective Cox. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
