THE DALLES, Ore. — The seven-member citizen working group reviewing sport spring chinook harvest and allocation between the lower Columbia, Columbia Gorge and Snake River will meet Friday.

The session will begin at 10 a.m. at the Columbia Gorge Discover Center and Museum, 5000 Discovery Drive, The Dalles. A public comment period is scheduled at 4 p.m.

Convened in September, the group has three representatives from downstream of Bonneville Dam, two from Bonneville Dam to the Washington-Oregon border and two from the Snake River.

The goal on Friday is to identify management options to be considered by the bistate Columbia River Recreational Fisheries Advisory Group on Jan. 16.

Spring chinook seasons are scheduled to be adopted by Washington and Oregon on Jan. 29.
